Dr. Melissa Hittinger
MAg, DVM, VSMT
Dr. Hittinger graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture followed by a Masters of Agriculture (MAg) in 2003. In 2007, she graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, SK. More recently, she completed the Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (VSMT) course allowing the addition of chiropractic adjustments for large and small animals to the practice.
Together with her husband, they run a cow calf operation and have two kids. Horses have always been a large part of Melissa's life and she continues to ride and show when she can. She is also a director for the local agricultural society, coordinates the local youth gymkhana events, active in the local 4-H club and a board member of the local horse show circuit. |
