Ambulatory and In Clinic Services
Stone Ridge Veterinary Services Ltd. is pleased to offer in clinic and ambulatory (mobile) services to the counties of Westlock, Thorhild, and Sturgeon. We provide quality veterinary care conveniently at your farm, barn, in your home, or at our facility.
At our facility, we feature two small animal exam rooms, kennels, x-ray, blood analyzers, dental x-ray, treatment room, surgical suite, in-house laboratory, and pharmacy services offering medicine and general anesthesia for surgery. For larger animals and other livestock, our heated barn has an equine handling stock and stalls.
Offering ambulatory, or mobile, services is a benefit to our clients who deal with time restraints, multiple animals, or transportation challenges. The comfort of home can be a reassuring and compassionate choice for certain procedures promoting a peaceful atmosphere for the animal as well as the owners present.
Due to the nature of the practice, patients are seen by appointment only. Same-day appointments may be accommodated depending on availability but we ask that you call ahead first. Since our veterinarian can be out on farm calls, calling ahead ensures someone is present to see you. This will also allow us to determine if there is availability or in emergency cases, triage the situation to ensure you receive the proper care in an efficient manner whether that is at our clinic or one of the referral practices.
